From my Journal and Intentional time with God today…
3,649 the Power of the Whisper!
193!
1 Corinthians 2
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God,
The Holy Spirit is given to us so we will know the things freely given to us by God!
There is communication which is to take place.
There are things He wants to tell us and show us.
Are we listening?
Are we in tune to the Power of the Whisper?
In John 3:8 Jesus says the Spirit is like the wind which blows and can it be seen, but is heard.
In 1 Kings 19:12 the voice of God is found in the sound of a gentle blowing (a whisper).
Job 33 tells us God speaks. Are we listening? I want and I am.
My Abba, Father,
I love You. I love reading Your Word. I love spending time with You; seeking You and listening to You.
May I know Your voice. May I hear Your voice. I want to be found faithful and be pleasing in Your sight.
Love,
Chuck

Praise God for a Pastor like you! I have really enjoyed your sermons for the past weeks and the last service sermon with Pastor Barry was so good. I’ve learned a lot. You could hear a pin drop last Sunday when I attended and he spoke. I just wanted to thank you for being who you are and for your dedication to our church as a whole. I love the way you have been ending our services. The blessing that you call to God for for all of us seem changed somewhat from what you’ve given in the past and I love the way it hits me now as we end the service together each week together. It makes me love you more and love God with hope and fills me fresh with the “living water” to do better and please God more with my life. Thank you for these words of encouragement in these rough days…Thank you Chuck. Also, I want to thank Pam for being your encouragement and all of the work that she puts into this church family too. God bless the two of you.
Amen Pastor Chuck! Thank you for being a great example of continuing to practice what you preach. I have taken the 24/7 pledge to heart and have been digging into the word and journaling on a daily basis. I would have to say “yes” I am beginning to hear the quiet still voice of God speaking to me through His Word and in my conscious through the power of the Holy Spirit through prayer and meditation (listening). Bit by bit the voice is increasing as we continue to take the initiative to feast on spirtual food that He has provided. I am encouraged by the results so far to abide in Christ by taking my vitamin “G” and being obedient to doing all of the things that we said we would do.
Thanks again!
Howard
“the sound of a gentle blowing” = a whisper. I love it!
And isn’t that just how God speaks – a quiet, still voice; His gentle Spirit; a whisper upon our spirit; the sweet move of His Spirit.
