This week Pam and I are in Louisville participating in the North American Christian Convention. This is a gathering of our sister churches; pastors who have a passion for God’s Word, reaching the world for Christ, and a desire to see unity in the body of Christ (John 17).
The original plan was for me to be a part of a round table discussion in the main session this Wednesday with Dr. David Holmes from Pepperdine University. We were going to be discussing the topic, “Grace that Feels.” The more I studied on the material I would be sharing the more excited I became.
However, upon my arrival here in Louisville on Monday morning, I received an email from Dr. Holmes informing me that he will not be able to make it because his brother-in-law passed away. Now, I am not sure what topic I will be discussing or what the NACC will do with this change of plans, but I trust that God will do amazing things. Please remember Dr. Holmes and his family in your prayers this week. Also, keep me in your prayers as well. I am a little nervous about taking on a main session at the NACC on my own with little time to prepare!

I’m praying, Chuck! Can’t wait to hear what God does!

Chuck,
My dad, Harold Armstrong (Lead Pastor at Journey Christian Church near Orlando, FL), met you just as you came off the stage at the North American. I believe he told you that his daughter, son-in-law, and family were moving to Corona, and looking forward to attending Crossroads. Well, we’re here, and we’re glad to have the opportunity to be involved in what God is doing at Crossroads.
Sincerely,
