BABY DEDICATIONS
Baby Dedications are a time for parents, before God and in front of witnesses, to admit that his child is a gift given to them by God.
As Hannah dedicated young Samuel in Samuel 1:27; parents are encouraged to offer their children to glorify God. Dedication is not a guarantee of salvation. It is simply a commitment to bring your child up in the love and Word of God. You are dedicating yourselves to pray for them in the hope that they will some day make a personal choice to receive Jesus as their personal Savior and serve Him.
The first step is to fill out the Parent/Child Dedication Application. Upon receiving this, you will be called to set up a 45 minute appointment with the Marriage and Family Pastor. After the meeting your dedication will be scheduled for the next month. The Family Ministry, here at Crossroads, takes very seriously the job of raising children in the Lord. We would like to pray with you, give you some practical tools and resources, and lots of encouragement!
