DISCUSSION:

  1. Chuck stressed "the first fruits" during his sermon. Share with the group what impacted you the most about this.
  2. Read Proverbs 3:5-12. How does the giving of first fruits interact with your faith in the Lord to provide? In what ways does giving of your first fruits reflect a life lived wisely? What is the relationship between wisdom and trust? How does this all relate to Exodus 24:7?
  3. Jesus uses money as a way to teach us about the kingdom of God. Describe how your relationship with money reflects your relationship to the kingdom of God?

INTENTIONAL INTIMACY
Chuck pointed out that tithing is a test. Share how God is using this test to draw you closer to Himself?

TOTAL SURRENDER
As a group, make a list of things you can do this week to use your treasure to make a difference in someone's life or for a ministry at Crossroads. Complete an item from this list by next week!
