Care Ministries

There is an unpredictability to life. There are mountain top highs, but also valley lows. God says, “He will walk with us through each one, and show us the way out.”

Crossroads is a safe place for you to share your journey. When you need someone to listen, someone to help make sense of life & your circumstances, assistance is only a phone call or visit away.

Crossroads Set Free

Tuesdays at 6:30pm

Set Free exists to provide pathways for individuals who are overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, and/or dependency to experience freedom in Christ. This is a safe place for you to connect with others; we believe healing comes from experience and community.  Crossroads Set Free is not your typical church service.  Our hope is that you open up, share, and grow as you become SET FREE.

Today’s culture says “you are all alone”. This is leading to a world filled with anxiety, depression, and dependencies.  Set Free exists to let you know that “you are not alone,” and your life has a purpose. Set Free gives you the space to gather with others and grow in your path to freedom as you focus on your relationship with God, yourself, and others.

Join us Tuesdays at 6:30pm in the Lobby.

Freedom Groups

Freedom Groups are short-term groups designed to help you through some of life’s biggest and hardest transitions, so that you can once again thrive.

Counseling

Here at Crossroads we value personal and family care through counseling.  We offer many types of counseling which includes: personal, couple’s, marital, premarital, children’s, and family counseling.

The 12 Steps

Pathways of Recovery, Healing, and Freedom in Christ
room people

The 12 steps are applicable and beneficial for anyone who is overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, and/or dependencies. Examples of these dependencies include but are not limited to, alcohol, drugs, anxiety, depression, sex, pornography, food, gambling or anything else that is negatively impacting one’s life and relationship with God and others.

The goal of the 12 Steps is personal, relational, and spiritual growth, so that one may experience various degrees of healing, with the ultimate goal being Freedom in Christ. The only requirements needed in order to effectively work these steps is honesty, open-mindedness, and willingness.

There are two settings in which an individual may work these steps. The first one is in a one on one setting with a Sponsor who has themselves already worked the steps, or in a group setting with a group facilitator who has also already worked the steps. Either setting is gender specific.

Online Groups

The purpose for online groups is to provide a pathway of recovery and healing through the use of technology. Anyone who is overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, and/or dependencies is welcome to sign up to attend any one of our online groups. The focus of each group will be to support one another through the sharing our experience, strength, and hope with others. Each group is to be a safe online experience that consists of both listening and sharing. Depending upon the size of the group, each person who attends will have the opportunity to share.  Sharing time will be limited based upon the size of the group as well. Each person will also be encouraged to attend Set Free on a Tuesday night as well as join one of our Freedom Groups.
