What is House of Study?

In the early Church, people who followed Jesus’ teachings looked drastically different than their neighbors living the “anything goes” way of the Roman Empire. Though Christians were persecuted by many for their faith in Jesus, people were attracted to the Kingdom way because it offered them an alternative to the culture that was killing their soul. Thousands of years later, people are desperate for truth, and the answer is the Church.

With the world getting noisier, more divisive, and more hostile towards Christianity, more than ever we believe God’s people need to pursue growth in their understanding of the Bible and their responsibility as Christians. It’s then, they will provide others around them an example of the alternative people so desperately want and need.

We’ve been using a blueprint God gave us in the Bible for living a fulfilling life that attracts others:

• Your Home should be a place of spiritual formation where you and your family meet with God daily. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9)
• Give and receive encouragement from other believers by meeting House to House. (Acts 2:42-47)
• Gather in-person or with others online on Wednesdays & Sundays at the House of Worship to strengthen your faith alongside the Church by singing praises, celebrating baptisms and stories of life-change, and hearing a message from the Bible. (Acts 2:42-47)

• Dig deeper in-person or with others online and increase your understanding of scripture at the House of Study
