You’re Saved… But Are You Filled?

The Holy Spirit fills us so we can stay faithful when life gets hard.
You were not designed to run on spiritual low power. You were designed to run on the Spirit’s power.
The filling of the Holy Spirit is God’s provision for moments that require more than we have.
Acts 1:8 (NLT)
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you.”
Acts 4:8 (NLT)
“Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them…”
Acts 4:31 (NLT)
“After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they preached the word of God with boldness.”
Acts 2:1–4 (NLT)
“All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit…”
Ephesians 5:18 (NLT)
“…be filled with the Holy Spirit.”
Greek: plēroō — present tense; keep on being filled.
Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
“So do not fear, for I am with you… I will strengthen you and help you.”
Ephesians 3:16 (NLT)
“I pray that… He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit.”
Philippians 1:29 (NLT)
“You have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for Him.”
John 15:5 (NLT)
“Apart from Me, you can do nothing.”
Acts 4:12 (NLT)
“There is salvation in no one else…”
Acts 4:10 (NLT)
“This man was healed by the powerful name of Jesus Christ…”
Acts 4:13 (NLT)
“They recognized them as men who had been with Jesus.”
Luke 11:13 (NLT)
“How much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him.”
John 14:16–17 (NLT)
“He will give you another Advocate… He will be in you.”
Saved people still need ongoing filling, because pressure requires power that personality cannot produce.
