Next Gen Teams

We have multiple ministries to serve with in Next Gen! Learn more about each below.

About the Kids Team

Kids Ministry Team: This team uses fun, creativity, and relationship to engage children in our weekend kids’ environments! They participate in kids worship, Life Groups, and Christ-centered teaching for all children over 2 years old.

Kids Operations Team: This team hosts new families exploring our campus and they welcome returning families as they check-in to Kids Ministry. They also make sure that our kids are free to experience Jesus in a safe environment by securing our Kids Ministry campus and provide first aid.

About the JHM Team

Junior High, 6th – 8th grade, is such a formative time in a student’s life, and we believe that having a consistent leader like YOU is so important in their faith. Every Wednesday at 6:00 PM and Sunday at 11:00 AM, we get the chance to connect students to each other and to God. We have time to hang out, play games, worship, listen to a God-centered message and meet in a life group. JHM is such an inclusive and fun environment and that is because of our leaders’ impact and their commitment to serve. We can’t do this alone and we need your specific gifts and talents at JHM. We pray that you consider being a part of the JHM team as we get to serve the next generation together!

Serving teams: Life Group Leader Team, Experience Team (set-up, tear-down, snack bar, safety, and offering), Welcome Team (check-in, greeting, connecting, first time visitor calls), Creative Team (events, games, hosting, social media content, video ideas), Decision Counseling Team

About the HSM Team

High School Ministry is one of the best serving opportunities that Crossroads Church has to offer. With over 10,000 high school students within 5 miles of our church, we are presented with the unique chance to spark revival and awakening in the next generation. From the moment that a student steps on campus until the moment they leave, our leaders are directly impacting their lives. By setting the pace and building God-centered relationships through life groups, games, and hangouts, you’ll be cultivating the atmosphere that these young men and women need to experience Jesus. If you’re wanting to make a difference, grow in your gifts, and discover your purpose, HSM is the place for you.

Roles: Life Group Leader, Check-In Host, Setup/Tear Down Team, Pre-Service Hangout Leader, Security/Safety Team, Worship Team

About the CYA Team

At CYA, we want to meet young adults where they’re at. The young adult age can be exciting and confusing at the same time, so we strive to provide a space where 18-30 year olds can be encouraged & hear biblical messages that are relevant to what life looks like in this season.

We also want to provide opportunities for people to grow spiritually. One of these opportunities is serving on a team! Spiritual growth happens when we choose to use the gifts that God has given us to serve others around us. As believers in Jesus, we receive spiritual gifts from the Lord that are meant to be used to bring glory to His Name and to edify His Church.

There are so many opportunities to use your gifts & serve. Check out this list of teams that you can observe, pray about & then make a decision to join!

Roles: Assimilations, Care/Prayer, CYA Express, Decision Counselors/Hosts, Events, Experience, Indoor Experience, Life Group Leads, Media, Online, Pop Signs, Production (Audio & Visual), Street to Seat (Connections), Welcome Center, Worship
